Sega Saturn backup issues; Please help...

I've burned about 5 different versions of NiGHTS and Panzer Dragoon, and all play fine, but both, when beating the first level, freeze. Does anyone know why this is happening, and if there are "good" versions of the ISOs? I've had some minor issues with other games (Bug! sometimes freezes after levels), but everything else runs fine.

Also, bin/cue files work great for me, but I cannot get ISO/MP3 files to play at all. I've done all the steps of converting the files to WAVs, and generating a new cue sheet that matches, but when I go to burn it, it doesn't work. I'm doing the swap trick, and perhaps these files don't work for that perhaps? Just burning the ISO as is does work, but obviously music is missing, which is still better than nothing. Just been having a lot of frustration, but my main concern is getting NiGHTS or Panzer to work, I'd even accept a Japanese ISO if it will play. NiGHTS' opening FMV also does not play, if that detail makes any difference. Thanks a lot for any help, it's been driving me crazy. I've got a model 1 Saturn.

Suppose I should also note that although I set the burning speed to 2X, it says it's actually burning at around 15. All of my games have been burned like this though, and like I said, many play just find. Some help would be so, so appreciated.

Are you using any cheat device like the 4in1 Action Replay cart? I found when I used this with these games with certain cheats enabled these games froze on my saturn in certain parts and levels but when turned off they worked fine hope this helps.

No, I'm not. Thanks for the response though. I'm just surprised so many different images have had the same issue. I recently found out about CDMage and I'm going to try that on them, as well as finding a Japanese ISO of Panzer Dragoon and see if that works any better, but I don't have any CD-Rs at the moment.

I would still appreciate any help though. People must have working images of these popular games, and wasn't there some sort of thing about a copy of NiGHTS which didn't have working FMVs being known to glitch or something?
