How to burn Nights, Last Bronx, etc.?

Post by carlosesca07 »

Hi guys, for quite some time i've had problems burning this games, i've ended up with an enourmous amount of coasters because of these games.

I know both games are "two-data track" games, but I jus't can't figure out what i'm doing wrong when burning them.

My burner is a Sony DVDR/RW 4X, CDR/RW 24x.

I have used both alcohol 120 and nero but with no success..thanks!

i'm with bin/cue, so you'd think you would'nt have a problem, but you do, also the .cue is like this
FILE "NIGHTS_INTO_DREAMS.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
PREGAP 00:02:00
INDEX 01 04:21:60
TRACK 03 AUDIO
PREGAP 00:02:00
INDEX 01 21:46:17
TRACK 04 AUDIO
INDEX 01 22:00:22
TRACK 05 AUDIO
INDEX 01 22:12:24
TRACK 06 AUDIO
INDEX 01 22:23:47
TRACK 07 AUDIO
INDEX 01 22:37:00
TRACK 08 AUDIO
INDEX 01 22:53:10
TRACK 09 AUDIO
INDEX 01 25:01:10
TRACK 10 AUDIO
INDEX 01 27:09:10
TRACK 11 AUDIO
INDEX 01 29:17:10
TRACK 12 AUDIO
INDEX 01 31:25:10
TRACK 13 AUDIO
INDEX 01 33:33:10
TRACK 14 AUDIO
INDEX 01 35:41:10
TRACK 15 AUDIO
INDEX 01 37:43:10
TRACK 16 AUDIO
INDEX 01 38:17:15
TRACK 17 AUDIO
INDEX 01 40:20:46
TRACK 18 AUDIO
INDEX 01 41:49:01
TRACK 19 AUDIO
INDEX 01 43:18:01
TRACK 20 AUDIO
INDEX 01 44:47:02
TRACK 21 AUDIO
INDEX 01 46:16:03

My .bin are USA so i don't need to region patch, speed setting is 4X, DAO, media is CDR (I've tried memorex, imation, tdk).

But it doesn't even begin burning, when I start burning it cancels the operation and tells me the process has "invalid parameters".

Have you tried a different burner? Seriously, no two burners are the same. Compact Disc Drives are the most stubborn things. They all have their own little issues with certain disc types. For example, when I replaced the music in Street Fighter 2 for Dreamcast recently, my good DVD burner failed everytime. I've replaced music in DC games before and never had an issue. But this one specific game refused to burn until I tranfered my work across the LAN to this old pentium 3 system, and tried burning on there. It worked.
