MAMEUI (MAME32) Help

Post by SpaceBooger »

I cant seem to play MK3, or any 3D fighting games without sound stuttering and slowdowns.

Can anyone recommend settings that I should use:

Specs are:
Processor AMD 1.3 Processor
1 Gig Ram
Geforce 5200 FX 256mb Video Card
Windows XP

Thanks,

I think those games are just really intensive in MAME.
MAME is usually more gears towards accuracy over performance.
So you may just need a faster CPU for some of those games.

I agree. Your PC sucks for that sort of thing. It's no where near fast enough to emulate that kind of game. Sorry!

Thats, ok there is nothing to be sorry about.
That pc is going in my arcade cabinet and I have not tried out mk3 on my main dual core pc... one day this one will be used for MAME, until then I will just deal with it... or....

I will play that game on the ZSNES or FUSION since those work great on the lower end pc.

I'm planning on putting an Xbox in my arcade cabinet alongside my MVS. So i can switch between having 100% faithful 100% legal games and then the gray area mame with roms on my xbox.

Plus if I use the coin-slot with MVS i'm not breaking any laws :P So I can make some cash off my friends hehe :P
