Any way to play Mario Kart Super Circuit online?

Was just wondering if its possible to play the GBA version of Mario Kart on-line somehow? I know you can play 4 player local multi player on the GBA itself but that requires 4 cables 4 copies of the game etc.

What about playing the game through an emulator like Visual Boy Advance?

I don't know about VBA, but maybe another emulator has online capabilities?
