Gaaaanna need more information than that. In my situation, my XP disc wouldn't recognize my hard drive, so I had to make a custom XP disc with the sata drivers embedded, since laptops these days dont have floppy drives, and the XP disc cant accept custom drivers from any other medium. Best way to load up your XP disc with drivers is this site:

http://driverpacks.net/DriverPacks/

Download all the packs, use their tool to inject them into the disc contents, and then create a new ISO with nLite, preferably without applying any intense hacks.

Ack, not having a floppy does suck in this situation, but I'm sure its doable with the custom XP disc. You should also call Alienware and see if they offer any type of support for this. They may since its pretty common knowledge at this point that Vista is POS.

Good luck!

Wow, I am surprised Alienware even gave you Vista. I guess their ownership by Dell is showing...
