not quite deception, but interesting

I've been looking to get a copy of PAL Dreamcast copy of Shenmue II and was looking around on ebay when I saw this:

I saw them and almost bid on the one with no bids that was just listed. Because they were PAL copies being sold in the US and it was Shenmue I almost immediately assumed it was Shenmue II. The starting prices were about what I'd expect for Shenmue 2, but never Shenmue I. I'm sure people will buy them thinking they are Shenmue II, I know I almost did. The two sellers aren't doing anything wrong, its just a case of me reading incorrectly, but I'm sure I'm not the first. I guess thats good marketing and from the looks of it the second guy copied the first.

Anyways, I found this interesting nonetheless.
