Console price cuts

Post by Ivo »

Apparently the Xbox 360 isn't going to have a prize cut in the Fall. I'm not too sure of that, they might change their minds about it and it makes sense to say "NO PLANS" to see if they get more early adopters.

What about handhelds? Does anyone have any prediction for when PSP and DS (or DS Lite) are getting a prize cut? For that matter, when did the original GBA or the SP receive prize cuts? 1 year after release?

If anyone knows anything or has opinions about it, please share them here!

Ivo.

Many PS2, and GC titles are dropping. I've seen (North America) Pikmin 2 for $20, Max Payne for $5 (used), Sonic Gem collection $20, and most other GC titles in the range of $30-$15. Then for PS2; Star Ocean: Till the End of Time $20, Crimson Tears $20, Guilty Gear Isuka $30 plus many more. But right when I seen all the cheap titles, I was hoping to see a drop in PS2's Gitaroo Man, but that was the only game which was still $39.99.

Whoops, sorry about that. As for console prices, The DS/ DS Lite are the same price still $129, that will need to change. So far i've seen the GC for $79.99, and PS2 (slim version) $129.99.
