Probably due to the re-release on PSP which sparks an interest for the new generations. I bought mine a couple of years back for 25 dollars.

I paid less than $20 for mine. Almost makes me interested in throwing it up on ebay and letting someone overpay for it. :)

Neat. I remember picking up a new Star Ocean II back in the day for around $25.

I don't remember why I bought it, but I was glad I did. It's one of the few PS1 RPGs I enjoyed. I even played through it twice for both characters and slogged through the secret dungeon in its entirety. Yessir, I got some great mileage out of that game.

Kinda want to replay it now that I think about it, but I don't know if I'll still like it these days. My memory of the game and the actual game itself are probably two different things by now.

This is a somewhat related question. I was recently reading about the best crafting systems in various rpgs and saw something about Star Ocean. Can anyone testify to its crafting system being a good one?

I'm looking forward to trying this one on the PSP.

I got mine for 15 quite a while ago, and passed up and 8 dollar copy a few months back because I already had it. Should've just got it and sold it.....oh well.

I went through the game twice, did the entire secret dungeon. I think I still missed out on one character both times but I forget who. I remember being so pissed off that I missed the acquisition point for him.
