Sacrifice (Same composer as the Invader Zim cartoon.)
Shogo: Mobile Armor Division
X-Men 2: Clone Wars (Sega put out an arranged CD that is fantastic.)

as far as game music goes, i'm pretty NES-biased. i like the simplicity and it's easy to hear the 4 "instruments" (sometimes 5?) playing in each song. mega man 2 is my nomination for best video game music. super mario bros. 3 is also really good, and the remake of the underground theme from the original super mario bros. adds a lot of flavor to it. balloon fight and mother (earthbound zero) also have lots of great tunes
look into video game music files (i think .nsf for NES games and .spc for SNES games, etc) to rip your own video game music CDs. if you wanna hear a real band playing the songs instead (strictly NES though), check out the band 'minibosses'!
