For the past 2 years, I have been involved in the development of PC games, striving to capture the essence of the 80s and 90s era. I firmly believe that the best games were released during those years, and they have greatly influenced both my passion for gaming and my overall worldview. Recreating the nostalgia and unique gameplay mechanics of that time is my goal as a game developer.

Maybe someone knows where I can ask about beta testing of games?

I don't have time to participate in your project, but I do have a few suggestions. Hopefully they are helpful.

Your post takes too long to get to the point. Your whole first paragraph on your original post reads like you are a salesman, and your post title is not very descriptive. I thought it would be about a YouTube video you made or book you wrote.

And then you just post a link to GitHub, which can be intimidating to some people. And if people do click on it, they see that you have an executable that you want them to run. Asking people on the internet to run an executable they don't have reason to trust is kind of sketchy.

You might try something like:

Title: "I am an independent game developer looking for beta testers"

Content: "I am making a video game and am looking for people to play it and provide feedback.
Here is a description of the game:"
<describe the gameplay here first, then describe the setting and story>

Then, describe what hardware and software is needed to run it. People need to know this before spending time trying to get your game to run.

I do not know what solutions are available to get your game to people without just providing links to a suspicious-looking executable. This is a problem I have not needed to deal with before.
