Wii Points Card Cheat

Post by Crabmaster2000 »

This might be a stupid question but im going to ask it anyway. Does anyone know of a method to manipulate the packaging for a Nintendo Wii Points Card that allows you to see the number on the card to input?

I got a card like a year ago and have yet to open it because I own most of the games I want that have been released on the Virtual Console already. I kinda like having the card in the package so I was just wondering if someone knows of a creative way to get the number off the card without damaging the packaging.

Get a friend who works in the radiology department at your local hospital and stick it in the MRI machine.

Joking of course. There's no way of getting the code without removing the 'seal' (not really sure what it is, the silver bit i mean).

Haha i was kidding, it'll see straight through the packaging you might be able to see the edges but thats it. It can only 'see' tissue and bone.

My uncle used to know a guy that worked in radiology who would take x-rays of Walker's crisp packets when they used to do the money in the blue packets inside the bags. He'd steal big boxes from the canteen and scan em one by one until he found ones with the blue packets in. He'd just replace the ones in the box with ones out of a multipack so nobody got suspicious when half the bags had gone missing. Genius.

Damn it. I guess I either have to open it or just leave it then. Ill probably just leave it. or I could petition Nintendo to print the number on the points cards out of the human flesh of its competition and then I could MRI it.

Hehe yeah keep it. In 30 years time it might be worth something :P

I'm tempted to get a 360 HDDVD drive seeing as they're so cheap now and keep it sealed in box just for prosperity. You never know it might be worth more than it's rrp one day.

So what then, you can return it to the store for another sealed one and some poor kid (or adult) buying the card back will say the points have been used.

Not only are you ripping off Nintendo but the consumer as well. Since you have the games already **wink, wink** you don't need to use the card, problem solved.

I was thinking something along those lines as well. If there were a secret to it, people would be stealing them a lot more freely...

In the UK we don't have to do that. Most games shops leave the Star Points cards in the cases. I just go in and steal a load of em. Register em. Then convert them to to Wii points :D 4 stars to 1 Wii point is steep, but when the stars cost nothing in the first place, I don't care.

Besides I live in the UK. Nintendo doesn't give a shit about europe. We always get our games last and they're always stupidly expensive here. So I think I deserve it.

I realize it might have sounded like I was trying some sort of scam, but honestly I'm not. I was just curious to know if it could be done cause I might have grabbed some of the imported games like Sin & Punishment that I do not own. I wouldnt return it to the store after doing such a thing. Just so I could use it and still keep it looking nice and pretty.
