Did you see the cool Sonic Mania Plus Infomercial that came out today? Has our very own Racketboy favorite Nathan Barnatt.

I think they did a nice job with the ad, especially the fact instead of cutting a lie against a competitor they decided to slam the problems of the modern industry instead for humor which is fantastic. I still remember the old ads, found the lies in them annoying enough I never bought anything new from Sega until the end of the 90s a few years after going into NEC stuff. As with any product I don't support lying about the other guy to sell stuff when you could give me a reason about yours instead to buy it.

The game is in the mail at the moment from Amazon for Switch and I'm looking forward to seeing what a competent (finally) developer can do with the old franchise since Sonic Team is clueless.

Hmm I guess so. I haven't played it since the 90s but you still get to dispatch people with holy flair at least. I still remember that one boss with that dumb quote about him going to bury you in a lunchbox and out comes the hand of god to see who ends up as the left overs in the thermos pretty quickly.
