Shipping Console from USA to CAN.

Post by SuperDerpBro »

Anyone have any idea the cheapest way to ship a loose Wii U + gamepad/cables (and maybe a wiimote/nunchuck) from the US to CA? The medium flat rate box is $47.75!

That's probably the cheapest way short of in-person delivery by someone just across the border.

Via USPS, First-Class Mail International will be a lot cheaper, but the weight limit is 4lbs. I don't know how much a Wii U plus packaging materials will weight. But a 4lb package from Long Island, NY USA to Victoria, BC Canada is $37.25 (and for reference, a 2lb package was only $16).

With the same origin and destination, UPS Standard is $32.56 for a 5lb package, $35.65 for 7lbs. UPS also has the benefit of the sender being able to ship from a UPS Store, which is a lot more friendly experience then a USPS Post Office when you're not sure what you're doing.
