I think arcade joysticks are some of the most under-appreciated periphials in today's market. I find them essential for fighting games and many people feel the same what with 2D shooters.
I'd like to put together a piece on joysticks and was wondering if we could share the following information:
What Joysticks You Own (Pictures Would Be Appreciated)
Which Joystick Is Your Favorite
What Joystick You Would Most Like to Have (Link to product?)
Any additional info you could share about each would be greatly appreciated
I own the following:
Official Saturn Virtua Stick - Fairly solid construction, sleek design, but not very heavy.
Saturn Eclipse Stick
A bit smaller but heftier thant the Virtua Stick. It's pretty solid for a 3rd Party joystick, but not quite as comfortable or pretty as the Virtua Stick.
"Official" Dreamcast Agetec Stick - Extremely well-built. Has good heft, but not "top-end". Controls are very solid, but not quite arcade authentic.
While I enjoyed the Virtua Stick a lot for Street Fighter Alpha 2, the Agetec Dreamcast stick is about as good as it gets for first-party arcade joysticks.
I'll try to post pictures soon.

I love using arcade sticks!
I've got a few now:
Ascii Official Playstation Stick
Agetec Official Dreamcast Stick
Hori Soul Calibur 2 Playstation 2 Stick
Nuby Soul Calibur Universal Stick
For capcom fighters I like to use the Nuby SC stick, It's very smooth and has a sort of 'heavy' feel that suits capcom fighters, I especially like to use this stick for Capcom Vs SNK 2. It is though for my tastes a little small.
I find for SNK fighters, especially KOF, that a stick with a more 'lighter' feel is best suited, I really like using the Agetec DC stick for the DC KOF games and also for Mark of the wolves. I like the tappity buttons and the placement of the stick and over all size of the thing. But on the down side I just can't get to grips with it for street fighter that well, It's harder to pull off quarter circles etc. I find and end up using the official DC fighter pad insted. The stick is preferable for Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 though.
I also have a Playstation 2 Soul Calibur Hori stick that I use for KOF games on Xbox (using a magic box adaptor, that also lets me plug in a saturn pad
) It's close to the DC agetec stick in feel but it has a slightly smoother stick and buttons that have a little more 'give'. I really like it and feel it is slightly better than the DC agetec stick in some respects and easier to use. I often like to use this stick for Guily Gear.
There's a Hori stick for the Saturn that I'm interested in buying, looks like it could be really good, has anyone used this stick?

Only the Saturn one
I only have the official Saturn one. It seems ok, but the buttons are smaller than the usual "arcade" size and aren't in the same shape, and the stick is quite light as well.
As you have it I suppose you don't need a picture, right?
