Square hired Yuji Naka

Post by marurun »

So, apparently, yesterday Yuji Naka announced that he was hired by Square Enix. I wonder what they will make together.

One Sonic Co-creator now works at Square and the other Sonic Co-creator works at Nintendo making Mario games. What a time we live in. Sad to see Prope is dead then. He did work on Phantasy Star back in the day as well.

It's a shame Sega would likely never license the Phantasy Star name to Squeenix. Then again, Sega has Atlus under their wing and still nothing is being done with the classic Phantasy Star.

Extraneous belts are like capes, just another liability: something to get hooked onto something in the environment when that's exactly what you don't need.
