What Are Your Retro Gaming Dream Machines?

Post by racketboy »

What gaming machines would you really like to have, but may be out of your league financially?

Mine:
Neo-Geo
Sega CDX
X-Men 6-Player, Dual Screen Arcade machine

I have my dream machines...

Sega Genesis/CD/32X all model 1 combo along with a power base converter (I list this just because I got all my systems brand new through my parents except for the 32X. I today wouldn't be able to justify the price these all sold up front for when I got them. 150 + 300 + 200 + whatever the powerbase converter cost... jeez! Oh wait... people actually are gonna buy the PS2!!!!)

A Pac-Man/Mario Cocktail arcade table (the pipe Mario... not Super... I am getting this from my friend for FREE!)

CDXs are not that expensive in Brazil (around US$80 in auction sites). I almost bought one last month.

I would be REALLY happy if I had a PCEngine Duo RX.

retro systems

Post by alexkidd »

The only systems I never had but always wanted were a Neo Geo cart system, and a Turbo Duo, I had the Turbo Grafx 16 and about a dozen hu cards but never got the CD player or DUo. I think these systems just outpriced themselves for must of us as teens. I'm sure if I were in my 20's in the early 90's I'd have bought at least one them.
I always wanted an SMS II also since I used to be obsessed w/ SMS and only had the original powerbase and Genesis converter.
