Video Game Prices on Cell Phone

Post by jjgames »

I was just in a Best Buy looking over their clearance rack and saw some games that I thought were great deals, but I wasn't sure because they were kind of obscure titles that I didn't know the prices on. "I thought, it would be great if I could just use a cell phone to look up the price right now." Then it dawned on me, I should use the data I have on my pricing website and make a mobile version. No images, just text. You can search or browse for the game and then it shows the price.

Would other people use a site like this? Since I had the idea, I have wanted to use it at a garage sale and a blockbuster store too.

What do you do now if you want to find out the price of a game you think might be a hidden treasure but aren't quite sure?

This is the main reason I've considered getting an iphone. I'm really not interested in the music capabilities. I just want to look up games when I'm out searching for retro gems and have heard the iphone has one of the better web browsers.

Any alternatives with equal web browsing abilities would make me happy though, as I've sworn on several occasions never to buy any iteration of an ipod.

You could get one of those Nokia Internet tablets or an Asus Eee PC

would be great to have that my cell phone just says "page too big to display" in most sites, just yesterday discovered this unknown used music, dvd and games store and they had shin megami tensei nocture for $20 and had no clue that it was worth more, didn't wanna look on ebay on my cell, so I pass it up and bought some music. Now I don't have time and gotta wait 'till next weekend to see if its still there.
