You gotta give him credit for admitting how much that ad campaign backfired.

I went with the "get a copy of the game" tier. They've got their hearts in the right places, and they've been doing this long enough that we will get something close to what they're promising by the end.

Well, this conversation is rendered moot. Romero has pulled the Kickstarter campaign pending the creation of a playable demo. Here's hoping that we end up seeing something cool in the coming months.
