So sad to hear about this.

I can say honestly that I've never once changed the station when a Prince song came on. He was a staple in my home as a child and I've continued to listen to him throughout the years. Dude was one of a kind. It's a bad year for music.

One of my favorite musicians for decades now. Very sad news.

Although I wasn't a fan of his music personally, I always recognized he was a musical genius in his own right. It sucks to lose yet another musical luminary this year, but there's one small bit of good news for his fans. Prince had literal troves of unreleased material, so there should still be new Prince albums for a few years on. Especially if he set anything up like that in his will, which is not uncommon for long time musicians to do.

Saw a headline on NYDailyNews.com that said he could easily have 100 years worth of new music. It's a small, but nice, consolation.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
