Custom Game Boy Light
I painted my Game Boy Light as close as I could get to a DMG gray. The original gold color was worn and scratched and this brought new life to the unit. I couldn't do much to revive the old labels, though. Also, I added a usb rechargeable battery. Let me know what you think of it.

That is really nice! Your painting skills are commendable.
I'll be contacting you shortly about some mods I want done on my handhelds, tho aside from having externally shipped parts sent to you, the deal will probably be finalized mid-April if all goes well. I will be out of town imminently so I will only be inquiring about pre-ordering and shipping parts before then.
I'd be happy to provide you some high resolution pictures (I would try scanning and some HD cameras) of my NM Gameboy Light's original decals if you're interested and you could inquire locally to have the decals made up.
