I remember seeing that controller with some early photos of the PS3 before it came out, and wondering what the hell they were thinking. What an ugly controller.

I had third party playstation one controller that looked like this, I'm sure that where they got the terrible idea from that controller sucked pretty bad, this was also before the dualshock so itcwas just a d-pas.
NES, SNES, N64, Genesis + 32X, Saturn, Dreamcast, PSP, Game Gear, Gameboy , Playstion, Wii!

I quite liked the look of the boomerang controller. At least it was different and not the same controller design that Sony have had for 15 years :|. The worst thing about the DS3/Sixaxis is those stupid flicky L/R2 triggers. My fingers fall off them constantly. Why oh why are they convex?! It makes absolutely no ergonomic sense.
