What's The Most Addictive Game You Have Ever Played?

Personally, I try to avoid games that are notorious for being addictive (Warcraft, MMORPGs, Sims, etc) but I do get myself hooked.

My #1 addiction of all time: Advance Wars 2 - GBA (perfect balance of simplicity and challenge)

Runners Up:
Tetris - Gameboy & PC (a natural)
Jet Grind Radio - Dreamcast (the combo of music and action wa amazing)
F-Zero GX (keep trying to top best race times)

And you gona laugh but do you remember Double Dragon for the sega Master system damn its still 2005 and i think at least once a week i finish that game. And yes my master system still works that was my first video game system.

I have Double Dragon as well, I used to play that heaps (still remember the first stage music).

I hate to say it but I find some sports games and online FPS games addictive, still unsure why

Otherwise I'd say either Street Fighter Alpha 2 or the bomberman games if you have others around.

Katamari Damacy! I got so addicted to that game. I went crazy and stayed up to finish it.
Also, most arcade games are addicting. MAME does not help that at all.
Edit: Team Buddies also is addicting. A friend just gave me his copy a long time ago and every torrent site I join always has it the week I sign up.

Warcraft and Tetris had me hooked for a while. I still like playing the Street Fighter series of games.

Paper mario 1000 year door had me so hooked I had a date to go drive 2 hours to a fun park with this girl who was probably the most beautiful girl I ever dated and I played that damned game until I beat it 2am in the morning...thats a hell of a game! I was all bleary eyed and sleepy when I had to wake up at 8am the next day try to have fun at the fun park with a pretty girl, but I beat the game and was finally free from its addictive curse.

Advance wars and advance wars 2 were definitely in the some of those stay up til 4am when I have to work the next day games.

Fire emblem games are the same way, I didnt buy the new gamecube fire emblem because I am afraid it might affect my career.

Wario ware though is defnitely the most played game, that game is just not so much time in as a game you can always have around and is interesting to play. Just two weeks ago I had a girlfriend walk out on me because during an arguement I ignored her and started playing warioware...Im that twisted about that game.

Funny part is advance wars, fire emblem and wario ware, and Paper mario 1000 year door are all made by intelligent designs, they make the best most polished games....I always buy the stuff they make..its always really addictive.

Star wars knights of the old republic had me absolutely hooked, I was dead sick with the flu and I played it until 5am in the morning in a bathrobe.
