That's stunning. Over the years I've owned the game twice both for the PCE CD which was amazing and I have the Famicom game these days, but that right there plays quite well to the quality of the PCE version I had which was an amazing parallel of the arcade.

Hopefully it gets completed and released physically for a good price with a nice high quality new board, shell and sticker to sit nicely on the shelf with the oldies.

I'm in the same boat, but if it comes in at a decent fair price say around $30 which is doable watching the fluff fly by on aliexpress, I think it could be managed. I don't need a foo foo box and manual. If you can't figure out Gradius 2, you shouldn't buy it. :)
