and I have some questions, first of all, I got the thing for 30 dollars. My frist question is, the wireless on it doesn't work(I knew this going into it) when I search for a network it says that an internal error has occured, the guy who had it said it just started doing that one day. Second question, it's got some dirt/grime/whatever under the glass part between the casing and the screen, it doesnt effect gameplay at all, but I really just want to get rid of it, I already took out that screw at the bottom to see if the case was free of the rest of it, but of course it wasn't. Is there anyway to get rid of this dirt without damaging the system?
thanks!
I just got an older model PSP...
Of course! You'll need a can of air and a very clean environment, but it's easy to clean the inside of your PSP. Take all the screws out of the back and the bottom one, remember where they all go mind you, and the faceplate should pop off. Clean it all out thoroughly with the air, and also try to find a static free cloth to gently wipe down the PSP's LCD. After that's all done, put it back together and you're set! I can get a wifi board for you if you need it, replacing those isn't much of a problem either.
ok I got it opened up and all cleaned up, not too big of a deal(i was missing the screw under the void sticker, duh). Now that I get it opened up I could see how replacing the wifi board wouldn't be too much of a trouble. I have no idea what this dude did with this psp but it was so gross on the inside. It had 15 years of gunk building up around everything.
So where can i get a WIFI board?
