Raspberry Pi 2 Gamecube

Post by jabsder »

Hello, i created a Gamecube with an Raspberry Pi 2 to Emulate some Games with the Software Recalbox OS.

The outer shell is an original Gamecube, but the inner parts are printed with an 3D Printer.

More pictures are on http://www.jabsder.com .

Very cool. What can you do with it? Does it play GC games?

you can play roms. For example SNES, NES, Sega Genesis, some N64 games, Playstation, GameBoy, GB Advance, GB Color and some more. But no GC games.

Part of me hates the idea of scrapping the original electronics... but most of me loves the look of it! Especially the NES cuz I'm an NES fanboy (and the fact that you can play "original" games on it unlike the Cube). Like samson said, seamless. Beautiful.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
Chronically out of date BST thread

A Gamecube that plays everything except Gamecube titles.

This is exactly the sort of nonsensical premise I look for in a purchase

You sir would have my custom on Taobao.

Wow - those look awesome. I'm tempted to go through the old boxes in my garage and dig out maybe an old broken Megadrive or SNES and see what I can do. :D
