Most of my favorite stories revolve around finding amazing deals when I was younger on video games. Like finding my SNES (that is still in use!) at a yard sale for $55 with
Final Fantasy III/VI. (There's a longer story there, but I won't go into it right now!)
I also remember the brother helping out immensely in a couple of cases. There used to be a salvage store we would stop by, but I'd had a disappointing day and didn't want to stop. He did, so the parents took us by. What did I find there? Only the holy grail that I'd been trying to find for years,
Dragon Warrior II. I also remember cringing when the guy plopped it up on the glass counter nonchalantly. But yeah, I've still got that copy.

There was also the time that the bro and I had already spent money on
Tales of Destiny II earlier that day. We walked into a Software, Etc., and they had
Suikoden II. I didn't really want to buy it at first, but he says, "What if we never see it again?" Yeah, it got bought, and that was an astoundingly prescient move.

Oh, and finding a complete
Chrono Trigger. Actually, the brother found that first, didn't buy it, and asked me if I wanted it or not. I was all like "you didn't buy it already, oh crap, hurry to the pawn shop!"
