Re: My blog - JRPG Densetsu
Yeah, the sooner you cover the greatness of The 7th Saga, the happier I will be.
Also, not technically JRPGs, but I would love to hear your thoughts on some of those Japan-only Wizardrys.

Yeah, The 7th Saga and Mystic Ark will certainly be covered!
I do plan on throwing some WRPG stuff into the mix as well. Speaking of Japan Wizardry, this is literally the newest translation on romhacking.net:

Re: My blog - JRPG Densetsu
quoted from my site's thread because it's relevant here for response:
Thanks, bruh.
I liked your intro as well - and I like that you're doing the same thing as me as far as avoiding "reviews" and just free-form writing about a game. Whatever comes out comes out. The article is shaped only by your thoughts. Whatever the game demands the shape of the article to be.
Oh, and can you write about Final Fantasy Mystic Quest? I always thought that game was unfairly shit on.

Awesome, total lurker here but love your posts in the games you've beat thread.
Re: My blog - JRPG Densetsu
Love it. These posts are fantastic. Any chance you'll cover stuff like Star Tropics or Crystalis?

Re: My blog - JRPG Densetsu
Thanks for the kind words, all.
noise / drunk, my main focus is on 8/16-bit RPGs, and I own the three y'all mentioned, so they will hopefully get covered someday.

Very nice! I always love reading things like this. Reflections and impressions rather than a score/review. Keep it up!
Need Hexyz Force and Class of Heroes 2 for a complete PSP RPG Set.....let me know your price!!!!
Re: My blog - JRPG Densetsu
Well, I finally just read through the whole thing. Not bad, not bad at all.
Since you're into the import side of the 8-bit/16-bit eras, is Bahamut Lagoon still as popular as I recall it being?
Also, I'd love to see you do a write up on the Super Famicom Magic Knights Rayearth RPG. Not because it's a great RPG, but I played through it over a decade ago, so it would be a nice walk down memory lane to read someone else's thoughts.
