Hi All I wonder if anyone knows what the issue is with my original xbox, there is a small clip on twitch which shows the problem here:
I'm thinking that it's dead but I'd really like a second opinion.
Any help much appreciated

1.6 PAL, right? Modchip/softmod doesn't installed? Internal HDD maybe dead and you can't replace it with another, try to read this:
http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php? ... e-package/
https://web.archive.org/web/20141025034 ... dd_key.htm
this steps may help:
1. Disassemble and clean it. Change thermal grease on CPU. Thoroughly clean video out with raw/clean spirit (not with drinkable alcohol or cologne).
2. Try to change several video cables with several TVs.
3. Try to replace power unit if you find something wrong in it (damaged power elements on the board and etc.)
4. If doesn't help, motherboard may have been physically damaged/overheated CPU/GPU.
