Zelda 1 Famicom disc system emulation without a microphone
Any idea how or if this can be done without a microphone? I am playing on a Dreamcast emulator.

No idea if the mike can be emulated, but aren't there alternative ways to defeat pols voice?

I would imagine that either the emulator has to support an alternative way to use the mic (use a PC mic or map a button to that function) or the ROM would have to be hacked.

Interesting, I will have to see when I get to that point in the game anyway.

Yes it can be done with FCEUX. In the options menu the start button for controller 2 can be swapped for the mike function.

Raphnet's NES USB adapter now works with Famicom controller 2, he added to the firmware to allow use of the microphone.

(Ctrl+F "Famicom")
Pretty neat.
