Post by s8n »

hi guys , im slowly working on a Time Crisis foot pedal mod and im unsure with the part below. If im correct its oxidized and needs to be cleaned , ive seen other pedals on ebay and they are getting to the point mine is but they do have some spots that are still shiny.

so what cleaners should i be looking at ?...........im thinking the stuff used for cars with diamond plate.

See if a friend or relative has any stainless steel grill cleaner in their garage or patio.

There's some similar cleaners too, ones that work on stainless steel refrigerators.

It's usually a aerosol spray or normal liquid spray bottles depending on the brand.

I'd say borrow some from that friend and give it a dab on your plate. In some corner or on the back where it cant really be seen.

You dont want to put a big glob of spray and surely ruin the finish. Thats why you try a little corner and hope the results are to your liking.

Then you can buy a whole bottle of the stuff and see what happens next.
