This thing was complete in box and begging me to take it home. The cassette drive needs a small repair, it does not know when to stop rewinding. Per this guy on youtube it is an easy repair. Gonna try it out, but looking at the cost of some of the cassette games I may put it off for awhile. It seems to be a nice alternative to my Coleco itself.
Any other owners here want to give out advise to me about this thing? I really know next to nothing about it to be honest.

Despite what the manual says, do not put the tapes in before you turn it on. It sends out a massive electrical wave that will wipe the data tapes.
It is a great big coleco, with few exclusive titles and some awesome ports. Highly recommend Buck Rodgers Planet of Zoom.

Gonna most likely be my go to for regular Coleco playing. Nice thing is I got the version that does not need the system attached to it. Other I saw needed a regularly Coleco plugged into it.

Does yours need the printer as the PSU? Mine does, that is why it is never hooked up. It doubles the size.
In college I found one that had an internal PSU and had a 300 baud modem. So I took it to a local hacker capture the flag match and we put our flag on the data tape drive. We came in second. The team that won could get the tape drive to spin, but could not figure out how to read the data, sadly the Adam broke in the process so we had to concede.

Yeah mine needs the printer. Odd setup, thought when I first opened it up that they forgot the power supply LOL.

I remember when it came out and the critics panned it so hard because of the design of the PSU through the printer. It was a nice looking machine though.
