Re: Together Retro: Pinball Arcade
Since Tales of Arabian Nights is the freeboard, I imagine there will be lots of discussions about that table.
Here are the goals:
Standard Goals
Complete a Super Skill shot
Collect the Jackpot during Genie Multi-Ball™
Score a Fireball Award
Capture a ball with a Shooting Star
Activate Harem Multi-Ball™
Wizard Goals
Win the Great Camel Race
Collect 60 Lamp Spins
Light the Ruby Jewel
Earn an Extra Ball
Rescue the Princess
And here is a super indepth writeup about the table:

I have so much trouble with the Camel Race.

Re: Together Retro: Pinball Arcade
since I have a bunch of Google Play credit, I'll prob do the Android port. I could play it on my Shield Portable w/ controls though that would need to be in landscape mode... so I'm wondering if anyone's played this on a tablet w/ touch controls and can speak on how well they work. It would certainly look better played on my tablet in portrait.
Re: Together Retro: Pinball Arcade
I love the idea of this app, and I mostly like the execution. Now that there are so many tables, it's a bit unwieldy to manage them all -- I just realized that I don't have all my purchases from when I got a new iPhone back in January. I also noticed that when I deleted Bride of Pinbot to force an update to the table (it had an unplayable camera glitch), it pulled 6 other tables off with it!
I've got everything installed and up to date, and having other people talk about goals and scores will help focus and motivate me.
Now is a really good time to talk about it because the Season 4 bundle pack is available. I like to buy the season packs because it's a little bit of a bargain. I only wish the licenses could carry over between platforms.

How is the Vita port of this? Is it up to par with the more powerful consoles?
The TR article says it's on PSP but wikipedia claims it's Vita. Which is it?

Re: Together Retro: Pinball Arcade
I've been waiting all year for this month. Besides shmups and FPS, I am also a huge fan of pinball.
I've had TPA for 2 years and I still haven't been through all 60+ games, but I hope to play them all this month. I am also qualified for Gold level mobile TPA tournaments.
I'll be using my Amazon tablet as well as the Amazon Fire TV Stick with the Amazon game controller.
Later this month TPA will be adding The Getaway: High Speed II.
Here are the scores and goals I have so far.

It is on the Vita, the stock PSP has an excellent set of Pinball Collections by Farsight, containing many of the same tables as Pinball Arcade.alienjesus wrote:How is the Vita port of this? Is it up to par with the more powerful consoles?

I'll finally be doing TOTAN this month.fastbilly1 wrote:I have so much trouble with the Camel Race.
On my Amazon tablet, touch controls are spot on. You touch the lower left and right corners for flippers, swipe back for plunger, and touch just above the flipper zones for tilt. Portrait is also the best way, it can be played in landscape but it's not like a real pinball experience, plus you get better camera angles in portrait.noiseredux wrote:I'm wondering if anyone's played this on a tablet w/ touch controls and can speak on how well they work. The Vita port (which is cross-buy with PS3 fwiw) is certainly up to snuff.alienjesus wrote:How is the Vita port of this? Is it up to par with the more powerful consoles?
