I can't find this answer anywhere, and I want to know before I start a new game.
I beat the game in under 3 hours and saved my CLEAR file. If I play through the game again and save over my CLEAR file, will it still keep everything? Or will it overwrite what I've unlocked unless I beat it in under 3 hours again?

Re: Resident Evil REmaster Clear File Question
I have and that's fine, but I want to know if I can safely save over it so I don't have a bunch of Resident Evil saves, or if doing that will overwrite my Clear File permanently.

Re: Resident Evil REmaster Clear File Question
If you loaded up your CLEAR save and started a new game with it, then yes, it should recognize that you have beaten the game.
Re: Resident Evil REmaster Clear File Question
I'm asking if I use that save, then in my new game save over that, will I still have the Rocket Launcher in my next game AFTER or would I have to beat it in under 3 hours again. I don't know if unlocks are tied to my save file or if there's a system file that determines that and saves that info.

Re: Resident Evil REmaster Clear File Question
I caved and just did it, worse case scenario was having to do another sub 3 hour run to re-unlock the Rocket Launcher.
It turns out you can. As long as you choose Once Again when you are starting a new game, everything will continue to carry over.
