Can somebody help me identify these two games?

Post by TLSC »

Long timer lurker in need of help.

First off, I have this Codejunkies disc that I can not find anything on:

It says "online player guide" and looks like it should be for a Nintendo Gamecube but when I tried to use it, it did not work and on the bottom of the disc it has writing that says " Ice Media, Xbox and PS2". I am really in the dark about this one.

Secondly, I have this new in the box copy Dinosaur GBC:

Nothing odd here, right? But take a look at this combo box it came with. The was a GBC and GBC guide book set and I have never seen GBC games sold this way. Thanks for your help!

For the first one, have you put it in your PC yet? It's a DVD, not a GameCube disc.

I have and nothing happened.

EDIT: Did it again and now something is happening! I'll report back in a little bit.

Edit 2: Turns out it's a promotional dvd released to showcase the Xbox and PS2 and the Codejunkies products for those consoles, neat. That just leaves the GBC combo set.

That gameboy game looks like something a Costco store would have pulled off back in the day.

Make a bundle and sell it together like that.

Well, not just Costco but other stores like that. Make a big flashy bundle and sell it for the holidays.

The only other place I've seen something similar to that gameboy boxed bundle is something offered in Asian runned stores.

Not to be mean or offensive. But in most towns there's a store run by Asians that always has import stuff or products of varying quality. Sometimes run like dollar stores or stuff at fixed rates.

Stores with a little bit of everything.

This Gameboy games looks like something that would have been behind glass or up on a shelf for all to see.

Very well could be. I am tying to see if this was a common thing back in the day and if it adds any value to it like the Sonic Adventure bundle for the Gamecube.
