Sega Saturn cd drive issues

ok i will try to describe issue as much as i can ... so When i turn on my saturn the access led starts to blink and its blinking all the time , my disc spins cd laser reed some and then only rotates it, after some seconds stops and acess led starts to blink faster when i open the drive access led starts to blink slower again. Saturn allways shows status ""Checking disc format" eaven with open disc drive and there are allways two orange cubes. Saturn spins the disc only after hard reset (power off/on) reset wont help. Iv check ribbon thats connect drive to motherboard and iv clean laser.

That's the model 1 that has the drive indicator LED, I'm not so familiar with that model. I'll just give some broad suggestions...

Have you tried cleaning the lens?

Does this problem occur with all discs (legit Saturn discs, audio CDs, CD-Rs)?

Yes.. yesterday something changed... iv checkt legit starutn games (3 of them) and one cd audio disc, im starting saturn led begins to flash cd spins and u can chear that laser reds it it moves up and now cd rotates same speed and laser reeds it saturn goes to cd player witchout animation, on top u can read "checking disc format" afetr about 15second disc stops led start to flash faster, status vanishes , when i try to open lid no open door status appears and let flashes the same way as it was when i boot my saturn, every disc work the same way. From time to time thos 2 shapes in cd player change from red circle to green square with everything else between them. Iv tried to clean everything and increase power to laser with this same resoult (when power is to low it wont rotate cd)

Either the tray needs adjustment, or the laser needs adjustment, or you need a new laser. In the worst case also a new CD drive.
