Personally, I find cables unsightly. A nice cradle makes it easier to keep a game console in sight without looking a mess.

Thanks for posting, Flake. Definitely going to hold off and hope that it's brought to Amazon w/ prime shipping in the near future. I imagine it won't be long before that happens.

Huh $7 shipping? I ordered it last night and it was $5 shipping. Considering that it was still $2.50 less than ordering the Japanese one and waiting a month it didn't seem like a big deal to me. I caught the link over at neogaf reading around and went for it because I don't like how I currently have to tie the cable around a desk lamp so I don't have to go fishing for it.

Oh so it's not a work around for the whole "no AC adapter included" thing. Shame.
