That bar's not low. It's already broken and splintered on the ground after being stomped on for two decades.AppleQueso wrote:Damn. Setting the bar low right out the gate are we?girlracer wrote: As long as its better than the CD-I games

Re: Netflix developing live action Legend of Zelda series
Still don't know what to think of this?
Live action of CGI? or gasp! Animated cels?
will Link, Zelda and crew be Caucasian? or vaguely Asian?
We dont want another "Last Airbender" going on with this.
Also Adult or Toon link?
PG-13 or G? Definitely not R
So many ways this can go wrong.
And so many ways this can go right.

Re: Netflix developing live action Legend of Zelda series
Good or bad, the show itself doesn't really interest me a whole lot. What I do find interesting is Nintendo doing something like this with an IP. They started guarding their brands pretty heavily after the 90's so this is quite a shift. If this is a hit I wonder if something like Metroid would be far behind.
Why would they necessarily be Asian? I don't picture Hylians as any specific race in particular.flojocabron wrote:will Link, Zelda and crew be Caucasian? or vaguely Asian?

If it was a 90 minute movie, I'd watch it out of curiosity. If the series is 13 hours long or something COUNT ME OUT because I don't really care that much about Zelda?
