Is there any good way to back up save files from a dreamcast VMU to a pc?

You can get a Nexus VMU which comes with a lead that connects to the PC to back up your saves. You can still get them new, lucky as they dont show up on ebay often

Whats one of those look like? I have this like clear purple (I think) vmu that has 4 pins coming out the top, is that one?

If you have trouble finding or using the apps, I can help you. PM when the time comes. If it doesnt come with the cable, well you can make your own but it might be tricky. Instructions are out there somewhere. I've seen them before.

i have a spare one i am not using. If you have net access on your dreamcast you can email yourself the saves.
