Congrats!

I'm buying a house this summer... just waiting for the tile job to get finished at the family house so that my sister can move in there and then I take her place. 166 thousand for a house worth 240? Sounds like a good deal to me!

Lol, I bought a condo last summer. Now this is officially the "old" people thread.

I'll be 26 in a couple months.

Man, moving is a pain when you accumulate more stuff.
the last few moves of mine weren't too bad when I was living minimilistic, but since we knew we were staying in-town, we gathered a lot more crap.

We're settled in for the most part now, but there is still a lot of boxes laying around and my wife has already painted two rooms.

28 next month

Post by alexkidd »

I'm 28 next month, but I look really young. It's finally starting to be a good thing, I look about 20.
In highschool and college when I looked like the kid from Home Alone it totally sucked though, haha.

The gamers our age cut our teeth on the NES and a few of us might have stumbled onto Master Stystem, atari, colecovision. Then when SNES, Genesis, TG16 came out we might have started having means to buy some games on our own w/ part time jobs or paper routes, then when 32-bit hit we had some major disposable income to blow haha. Man I bet I had 60 Saturn games and almost a 100 DC games at one point in college before the bills of the real world and student loans struck me haha. I sat out PS2/Xbox/GC (except buying a gamecube, playing windwaker then selling it) but I am PUMPED for Wii so i'll be back in the game.
