SNES exterior cleaning question
So I made my Walter White-esque trip to the store to get the goods to clean a yellowed NES (hydrogen peroxide, OxiClean, rubber gloves, etc) and I have one question before starting my "cook": is leaving is out in the sun essential? Admittedly I probably already know the answer but it's not a great time of year up north here to do this sort of thing. Forecast is overcast/rain/snow for the foreseeable future, and I have to have this ready for my buddy in time for Christmas. Thanks

You don't necessarily need sunlight, just a source of UV light will do.

Does a plain black light bulb work? I found one and I've has it on for almost a day and don't see a change. (FYI I used salon care 40 instead of concocting the mixture

No, a black light bulb wont do. You need a UV light bulb.

If anyone is willing to show an example I'd be grateful. Maybe I'm overthinking it
