Looking for good team based online PvP games

So I'm looking for a good online game with team PvP modes.

My 2 favorite online experiences over the past decade have been: World of Warcraft Battlegrounds (I hate hate HATE arena play, while I loved most BGs), and of course Team Fortress 2.

So I'm looking for online PC games where I can play team based matches where: team work is more important than solo skill but preferably (though this isn't necessary) a single player CAN change the tide of battle with his actions.

Maybe my requirements are a bit strange, but I find this is the kind of online experience that interests me the most.

Any recommendations?
