I'm not a sockpuppet General_Norris

Post by Erik_Twice »

Hey buddies - it's a-me - General_Norris! I asked Racket to change my name because there are too many General_Norrises on the internet and some of them are quite nasty. And since I already link to my blog the alias was kind of pointless. So Erik Twice it is.

I'll also take this chance to apologize if I were ever a dick to you and I hope having my name plastered on the screen makes me more careful next time. :)

But, I thought the RB mod staff was totally against changing usernames! What caused the change of heart on their part?

That's a very inappropiate thing to say to a Spaniard.

I want to change my RB username, and I know a couple of other people here do, too, but have been hitting a wall when talking with the mod staff.

I said that it isn't done willy nilly because people will be asking all the time because they didn't take the time to think about it when they first signed up or they're in a different mood this week or whatever. We aren't going to sit here and do a lot of name changes, so I asked you to provide a good reason why you wanted it changed. You didn't reply after that.

Maybe they only agree to change when you change to your real name? Wasn't Nathan Barnatt nickname changed as well (or did he just create a new account)?

EDIT: Hobie already clarified.

I don't believe I ever PMed you about this personally, but I have heard it from someone else who has. I was just speaking on their behalf.
