Recommend me some DS games

Post by Chaos Jr »

After getting the CycloDS Evolution, I though I would be hooked on to the DS like crazy, but that doesn't seem to be the case...

Anyways, recommend me some DS games.
I already have:
# Jump Ultimate Stars
# Jump Superstars
# Meteos
# Super Mario 64 DS
# Mario Kart DS
# Yoshi's Island DS
# Ouendan 2
# Advance Wars: Dual Strike
# Advance Wars: Days of Ruin
# Pokemon Diamond
# Animal Crossing: Wild World
# Phoenix Wright
# Rune Factory
# Digimon World DS
# LoZ: Phantom Hourglass
# New Super Mario Bros.
# Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
# Metriod Prime: Hunters

I would recommend Sonic Rush, WarioWare Touched, and Kirby: Canvas Curse on top of what you have... oh and maybe New Super Mario Bros. but I haven't played it so I don't really know.

I have to second the Tony Hawks games, there are three out at the moment. I have finished the first two games and they do the series solid justice. Its the best Tony Hawk since THPS2 IMO. There is just so much squeezed into the game. Pushes the DS hard and is very creative in its approach.

I really liked Dementium: The Ward for about 4 hours then I realized that its just the same thing over and over again and kinda got bored, never beat it anyway.

These have already been mentioned, but I will go ahead and strongly second Elite Beat Agents and AW: Dual Strike.

EBA is just fantastic, simple, but challenging fun. I have put more 115 hours into AWDS and still go back to it from time to time. Haven't played the new AW game but I'm sure it's pretty good as well -- but it sounds like it doesn't have all the extras that keep you going for so long in Dual Strike.

Not being sassy but I recommend you give up. If you have all those games and don't like any of them then you just aren't gonna be pleased by the DS. You've gotten more than a taste of the system, now go turn all that in for store credit and get something you do like.

I've been through six DS games. I didn't really like Metroid Prime Hunters or Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I thought Brothers in Arms DS was OK. I LOVED New Super Mario Bros and Geometry Wars Galaxies. New Super Mario Bros. is really short, but if your a fan of the old 2D Mario games like those on the SNES it'll make you freak out. Geometry Wars Galaxies is just pure, high score earning bliss. You should get those two!
