Cowboy Bebop Remix Box

Just in case anybody wanted to know, the Cowboy Bebop Remix series has finally been released in a box in NA. Instead of 130+ dollars to buy all the DVDs separately, you can have every episode for only 40 bucks.

I know they keep re-releasing the series to get our money, but I got mine yesterday and the Remix is well worth it, especially if you have 5.1 surround sound.

For the Remix version of Cowboy Bebop, the sound has been remixed and remastered into DD5.1 and DTS surround sound. The video has also been remastered; with everything done under the original director's (Watanabe Shinichiro) supervision.

There are also more interviews and commentaries, as well as the extra episode "0", and music videos and a bunch of other stuff. Perfect collection, although it might be better if there was a little book of some sort with pictures and other stuff.

Interesting, I don't really have a good enough set up to appreciate the enhanced sound and visual quality. I can definitely see myself dropping more money on this show again some day though. I own all the original DVD releases already. Love, love, LOVE this show.

I wonder if anyone here has ever played any of the games based on the show. I'm skeptical of their quality.
