Bruce Campbell

"THIS...is my BOOM STICK!!!"
The iconic Ash from the Evil Dead movies, the most bad ass Elvis (and old guy) ever in Bubba Ho Tep, and the old timer bad ass Sam in Burn Notice. What's great about him is his ability to be both bad ass and funny at the same time as evidenced here:
Antonio Banderas

"Bless me, Father, for I have just killed quite a few men."
He was great in Zorro, but his most iconic bad ass role for me is Desperado. The Mariachi is one of my favorite bad ass characters and he played it to perfection. He was also great as the scary, bad ass father in Four Rooms. And that bad ass father in Spy Kids
Bruce Lee
"Boards...don't hit back."
You talk about a guy who is oozing with charisma and just plain screen presence. There's still few people in the martial arts genre who can match Bruce Lee. The closest I can even think of would be Donnie Yen. Bruce Lee commands your attention at all times with a cocky confidence that can turn to deadly seriousness on a dime. And it's not like I need to say much about how influential he was to martial arts movies and real life mixed martial arts.
Donnie Yen

"I just keep working on crafting my art, on how to make action movies. "
If you just want a guy who can look bad ass, he can do that. You want him to play a dramatic role like Ip Man though, he can do that too. This guy's been in tons of great movies, has choreographed fights for great movies (like Blade 2), and is a bonafide bad ass martial artist in real life.
