So... what did YOU do when the server was down?

So... what did YOU do when the server was down?

Post by BRIK »

Having the server down these last couple of days, I found myself missing a huge part of my daily routine. Suddenly, I couldn't quickly check the forums in-between doing other stuff.
I spent the time I would usually do that blankly staring at my Google Chrome home page... I was lost... I didn't realise how often I check these forums until they were taken away from me

So the question to you, Racketeers, is what did YOU do in the time that would usually be spent browsing the forums? Did you break out in a cold sweat? Fever? Contemplate going outside? Anything else equally crazy?

I can't remember what I did. It was all a haze. I think I might have spent time with my cat and cleaned up the kitchen, but who knows!

I was going to mow the lawn but it rained all day yesterday and Tuesday. so I went to the bookstore yesterday, and mostly just did job applications both days.

Went to the doctor's office yet again. Had more blood work done.

Bought new shoe laces.

Had a suit tailored.

Passed out flyers at high scale retail stores for the Dean Martini event.

Cleaned all my kicks and polished my shoes.

Lost weight.

Took ballet classes.

Helped my neighbors move.

Cleaned up my resume'.

Attended interviews.

Designed a new business card.

Practiced piano and composed new pieces.

Ate a bag of Air Heads.

Yard work, and painted my park bench.

Slept, breathed, ate, showered, brushed my teeth.

Took the dog for walks.

Bought a hot dog from a hot dog vendor outside of Lowe's Home Improvement.

Defragged my laptop, and other general pc maintenance.

Danced with my wife to a lot of music.

Told a guy to "learn how to park!"

Helped an old guy load his groceries and got to ride his mobile cart back to the store.

Sang and played Happy Birthday to my Mother.

Threw up half the food I ate, but surprisingly the air heads stayed down.

Wrote some jokes for a friend.

Planned a trip to LA.

Picked blueberries.

Grew a beard.

Learned how to moonwalk.

Won a Guinness World Record for "Longest Range for a Chicken Shot Through A Sling Shot".

Lied about one of these things.

Was having withdrawal symptoms...

I needed my video game look what I found fix!

There was a pic I wanted to put in the dump thread but I couldn't!

I couldn't see a damn mug!

I had random thoughts and nowhere to put them!

So glad to have my addiction back.

Excuse me while I lurk now....

I realized that all my happiness comes from an online gaming forum, that I have no one, and that the last few years of my life have been a waste...

Thank God it's back though! Don't have to worry about any of that shit again.

Just kidding :) But glad it's back!
