Just noticed this game when I was browsing through some Indie bundles earlier. Looks pretty awesome and it already got greenlit on steam. Story sounds looks like it has a lot of potential and it appears to be a decent Turn Based RPG. Downloaded it on Desura but am holding off on playing it till tomorrow.

If it piques your interest it is only $1 over at indie gala in their greenlight bundle. Everything is desura keys but they have already started adding some of the steam keys for the games that get greenlit.

They also have one sequel out and another in production. Both are up on Greenlight over at steam.

Data Hacker: Initiation
Re: Data Hacker: Initiation
Started it up and played for about an hour and half. So far it's pretty basic turnbased RPG just with the twist of having hack abilities. Hacking is kind of like Dot.Hack you can hack weakend enemy for data cores which can then be sold. However on occasion the monsters get rewritten and turn into Generic Party members. You can also hack any NPC(Other "Players" included) within the game but there are no safeties so once you have hacked an NPC they are gone forever and any quest that required them later on is pretty much gone
.
Story so far hasn't really taken off it feels kind of flat but then again I am still in what I would say is kind of a tutorial section.
Some pics.
