SNES Vertial Lines Issue

Post by jamescurtis24 »

Anybody know how to fix this issue?

It's not just exclusive to that game, it happens on all games.

Everything runs perfectly, it's just those lines.

If anybody knows a fix that would be awesome!

Thanks.

Push the sides of your TV together. Use a clamp if necessary.

50 inch LG plasma, connected by AV through the component cable slot; however, I believe this information to be irrelevant. I just acquired this SNES, and my other SNES works perfectly fine on the TV, I'm even using the same power and AV cable for my working SNES, and getting these lines.

Cleaning the slot - take an old tshirt and a playing card, wrap tshirt remnant around card, dip in isopropyl alcohol, insert to slot several times.

Reseating ppu involves soldering

Irrelevant? Using a non-native connection is irrelevant? Ok.
