This was great. I love digging into long-form reviews.
I don't understand why this game didn't really catch on more than it did. Maybe it came just a bit too late for the sword-and-sorcery crazed 80's?

I still need to snap this one up for the SNES though I've played the arcade version some over a decade ago. I just have King of Dragons which is kind of similar and also excellent.
