So yeah I just beat an NES game on my first try....
Just popped in my NES everdrive and decided to give Bonk a go since I never played it before, so about 45 min later I'm at the last boss with like 7 guys left and it dawns on me that I'm about to beat an NES game on my first try. and I burned about 2 guys on him and sure enough I beat Bonk on the NES first try no cheats. Seems this game is rather easy gives you way too much health, once you upgrade to 6 hearts each heart takes 3 hits so you can take 18 hits and life fills are plentiful.

well congrats then.
i distinctly recall the one of the game i beat on my first try : waiwaiworld 2
i was in 4th grade, waiwaiworld 1 being one of my all time favorite games but a nightmare in difficulty. i saw waiwaiworld 2 and asked my parents to buy it since it was my birthday.
got home, expected to give up after a few tries but imagine my surprise how polarizing easy this game was. i was so disappointed. since it was too easy i got really tired of it at once after a few repeats. ended up trading it...
...........................
many years later.....
i wound up with a copy of the game again. this time i played it with my daughter. needless to say, its the first famicom game she has finished.

That's cool did you grow up in Japan? if not why/how were you playing Famicom games at age 4?
